As child safety is of utmost importance to us, we have engineered a child version of a bicyclist, depicting a 6 to 7-year-old child. Together with leaders it the field of active safety and industry consortiums, we have created this active vehicle safety target, alongside our adult bicyclist dummy.
A multitude of tests can be achieved with our 4activeBS-child thanks to our simple control unit and easy handling thereof. The wheels of this dummy have permanent contact to the ground, the same way the adult version does, to ensure a most accurate reconstruction of a real-life situation. This standardized dummy works for Radar, LiDAR, camera systems (both 2D and 3D), ultrasound, and thanks to the heated option; near- and far infrared testing. This dummy is also compatible with most of our platforms like the FB-small, the FB-eco or the SB.
